Legal action will be taken against Pizza Hut and it is also expected to be sealed for using expired items in the pizza which is highly likeable by the large number of people. Similarly KFC at University Road has also been sealed after the raid as team found more than 200 expired food items and rotten vegetables in their kitchen.

Recently Director Operations of PFA Aisha Mumtaz took action against outlet of Gourmet Bakers and Sweets which is located at Ghalib Market in Lahore for selling expired cream. Likewise another famous restaurant named as Fat Burger situated at MM Alam Road got sealed for using rotten meat and vegetables in the food. PFA’ team also told that even freezers of the restaurant was working properly where they used to store their food items as well as they were also using expired oil for frying purposes.
However team also sent some of the products to the laboratory by taking their samples for further testing. They have also imposed high fines on some of the international bakeries such as Mahnoor Sweets in Data Town, Bigman Sweets and Bakers in Samanabad Town, Hafiz Sweets in Shalimar Town, Shiraz Bakery, Nadeem and Naveed Shawarma and Doce Sweets in Nishtar Town and many others for selling unhygienic products and unclean sanitary conditions. PFA’ team also raided the cafeteria of Services Hospital at Data Town in Lahore after receiving heavy public complaints and found DE fruit juice, DE Fruit Nectar and DE Fruit Drink which have been seized by the team.
A large number of people have also been admitted to major public hospitals of Islamabad during Eid days due to suffering from gastroenteritis which mostly causes for eating and drinking unhygienic items. It is sad to know that these famous restaurants are receiving hiputy gh money from their customers due to their name but serving food to people with expired items which are totally unhygienic and spoiled foods for them.
