Islamabad: Women MPAs and MNAs of PML N and ANP political parties opposed and criticized over the remarks passed by the PTI chairman Imran Khan on Monday over the women quota status in the parliament and their reserve seats.
Women from both the parties demanded the PTI leader to present the educational qualifications possessed by his party female workers. PML N MNA Anusha Rehman said that Imran Khan does hold any right to put their qualifications and their positions in question as he does not hold any representation in the parliament neither he and his party has had rendered any sacrifices for serving the masses.
Kashmala Tariq, Jamila Gilani, Ms Shahnaz Wazirali were among the prominent women who spoke against Imran Khan’s remarks terming them to be biased, discriminatory The women leaders said that the cricketer come politician had a very non-political approach. “He is against parliament and social justice”. They also demanded help from the law minister and their male workers against what they called ” breach on their positions and right”.
The women said that they had attained the position according to the constitutional procedures and by stating such words Imran Khan has failed to represent the class he says to represent.
