He said that the present government after the Prime Minister’s case has understood that their time is over now. They are just trying to complete their ruling period. He said that the present government is using the court trial for their own objectives. Incase of Miyan Nawaz Sharif, only 30 days were given to him by the court for registering appeal.
Mr. Tanveer said that he does not consider the late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto as a martyr but instead she had come to Pakistan with intention of looting and plundering by being in power, unfortunately she became a victim and could not survive. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto had destroyed Pakistan, he further said.
Mehreen Anwar Raja, member of PPP however defended her party saying that many of the PPP leaders have had laid their lives to serve the nation. We have rendered sacrifices for restoring Supreme Court. These days judicial activism is being practised and suo motto is taken against every decision. Judges are corrupt. Our party is not doing anything, which can worsen the situation, the constitution permits us to take decisions, the PPP member said.
