Islamabad: PML N has always played its due role in strengthening democracy in the country and always expressed solidarity with the lawyers and advocates of the country. In 2008 elections, PML N chanted slogans supporting freedom of advocates. To support the notion and make it a complete success the PML N party even didn’t pay heed to their Punjab government. We didn’t step back and staged long march for the restoration of lawyers’ freedom and that of the advocates said the MNA and PML N member Shahryar Riaz.
MNA Anjuman Aqeel Khan, Member of Punjab Assembly Shahryar Riaz, Former Deputy Minister Salman Mehmood, Former Nazim Hafiz Mohammad Abdullah Butt, Sheikh Nasir Ali and PML N Rawalpindi representative said that the NRO case has been left undecided in order to hide millions of corruption of the president; the party dismissed its Prime Minister.
PML N supports masses and it would show solidarity with the advocates’ decision. Politicians would have to step down if they do not work for the interest of the masses and the lawyers, the PML N member said.
