PML-N Sindh MPA Shafi Muhammad Jamot Profile

Mr. Shafi Muhammad Jamot is a senior politician among the ranks of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz). He is a strong voice in Karachi for the rights of his constituency. He belongs to constituency PS-129 Karachi-XLI. He is an old politician with years of experience in politics. He has raised his voice at the government doors. He has been a strong advocate of democracy, freedom, justice, equality, fraternity and humanity.

His current official position is a member of Standing Committee on Works and Services, Standing Committee on Forest, Wildlife and Environment, Standing Committee on Livestock and Fisheries, Standing Committee on Information, Science and Technology, Standing Committee on Information and Archives, Committee on Government Assurances, Standing Committee on Revenue, Land Utilization and Relied and Rehabilitation, Standing Committee on Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr.

Mr. Shafi Muhammad Jamot has served at various official positions in the past also. He had been elected as Chairman-District Council Karachi in Local City Government from 1979 to 1983. He has served as Chairman District Council Karachi from 1987 to 1992. He has also served as Member in Provincial Assembly of Sindh in 1977. He is married and has raised four children. He follows Islam as religion.
