Pervez Rashid also said that Asif Ali Zardari is senior politician and he respects him a lot but it is not appropriate to discuss sensitive issues through the media. He further added that army is sacrificing in order to bring improvement in the conditions of Karachi while Nawaz Sharif is the prime minister and the heads of all institutions. Therefore, in the context of this situation, it was reasonable to delay meetings of PM with Zardari, he said.
The 68-years old minister said that it was not suitable to pass such a controversial statement in the situation of fight against terrorism.
