Police Establish Facilitation Centre In Sindh For Public

Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police Allah Dino Khawaja issued order to establish new complain centre in Hyderabad. However this order failed to see the light of day that’s why many complain centre could not start their work in proper way.

According to the Hyderabad police spokesperson around 2 complain centre has opened and started activities. Around 26 complain had received which is about kidnap and family issues. Most cases have been solved.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah told that we have decided to establish police facilitation centre in all districts of Sindh for public. Their environment will be different in terms of, structure and way of talking with public. People can file their complaints regarding lost of documents, domestic violence, missing children and other cases or request.

The meeting was attended by law adviser Murtaza Wahab, Sindh IG AD Khwaja, principal secretary to the CM Naveed Kamran Baloch, additional chief secretary (development) Muhammad Waseem, finance secretary Hassan Naqvi and architect Murli Dharan.

IG Sindh was addressing a conference at opening ceremony of “Peer Thana”. He said that the purpose of reporting centre higher qualified staff so that they can facilitate and provides solutions with good behavior and manners.

Further he told that we are providing many facilities to complain centre like camera, upgrade computers, Air Conditioner room, internet, ladies staff to tackle the family cases and stringent securities. Almost 15 more complain centre will be established within one month.

Opinion

Sindh police department and IG Sindh must first analyze complain centre requirement according to district wise. They should train and organize workshops and training centre for officials. So that they can easily tackle the consumer problems.
