The first day of a three day initiative to vaccinate children against the debilitating disease, the initiative has been launched in the three district of Balochistan – Quetta, Killa Abdullah and Pishin – which has been declared the most vulnerable in the province.
During the vaccination drive, some 725000 children are to administered the drops by about 1500 health workers.
It is good to see that government has taken this step and it will surely make some difference and disease like polio should end in Pakistan as it has ended in many countries long time ago.
