Political Economist Dr S. Akbar ZaidKarachi: Political economist Dr S. Akbar Zaidi said that it is a bitter truth that Pakistan lost terribly in the war of 1965 as histories in the Pakistani textbooks are completely different from the reality. According to the details, Dr S. Akbar Zaidi gave lecture on ‘Questioning Pakistan’s history’ as event was organized by the Department of Social Sciences of Karachi University on Friday.

Dr S. Akbar Zaidi also claimed during his lecture that Students are always taught the making of Pakistan due to which they only know history from ideological point of view and are unaware from the real history of the people of Pakistan. However the lecture of Dr S. Akbar Zaidi in Karachi University was started with several questions raised by students at which political economist said that history is being reinterpreted because history of Pakistan is living truth which will always reviving through questioning, facts and truths.

When Dr S. Akbar Zaidi was asked about the formation of Pakistan, he replied that we taught that Pakistan formed on 14th August 1947 but real truth is that Pakistan came into being in 712AD at the time when Arabs came to Sindh and Multan. Political Economist Dr S. Akbar who is used to teach history at the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi claimed that Pakistan’s history became victim of bad treatment due to several reasons which should not be consider.
