Political Instability Hurting Industries In Pakistan

For industrial development it is necessary that there should be political stability in the country. Frequent changes of governments and general elections do not help to chalk out good industrial and economic policies. What political hide and seek governments have played under the president ship of Ghulam Ishaq Khan is the example of such instability of governments which was not favourble to make industrial development.

However the present democratic government is successfully completing its 5 years rule in 2007 and it has large foreign exchange deposits so it can successfully work to make exemplary industrial development.

However due to large scale destruction caused by earthquake of October 2005 it will be difficult to have great success in the industrial sector in short spells of another two years.
