Mr. Mahesar was born on 19th July, 1947 in Kazi Arif Mahesar village in Mehar taluka. He remained president of the Pakistan National Party’s Sindh chapter from 1993 to 1995 and then joined the PPP-SB. In 2001 he joined PPP. In 1985 Kazi Shafiq Mahesar was elected as MPA on indpendednt seat.
