Hyderabad: Federal Minister for Political Affairs Maula Bux Chandio criticised the Sindhi nationalists who doubt PPP as traitor and anti-Sindh saying that opposing the Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance was not a right decision, since they had earlier supported Musharraf’s Local Government System.
He spoke of these words while inaugurating a school at Maula Bux Mashoori in UC Hatri. He said that those claiming to be Sindhi nationalists have themselves worked in the projects that were meant to be Anti-Sindh including the Kalabagh dam project. He urged the group to refrain from such allegations as it would affect the province prosperity.
He said that the nationalists also enjoy good terms with MQM and there is no wrong in bonding between PPP and MQM. SPLGO is not the final document, necessary amendments can be made if needed, the minister spoke.
He said that PPP would win majority votes in the upcoming elections.
The minister on the occassion condemned the killings and violence that hit the city on Friday.
