PPP Perveen Junejo Claims Husband Forced Her Resignation At Gunpoint

Parveen JunejoKarachi: Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) of Pakistan Peoples Party Parveen Junejo has told that she has not given resignation on her own from the seat of Sindh Assembly as her husband Aziz Junejo pressurized her to sign typed resignation paper at gunpoint. According to the reports, Parveen Junejo told that she was shocked to see that her resignation approval by the Sindh Assembly speaker without her confirmation.

MPA Parveen Junejo further told while talking to the journalists that Aziz Junejo, her husband called her at Zardari House in Karachi where he forced her to resign from Sindh Assembly at gunpoint in the company of Asif Ali Zardari’s sister Faryal Talpur and MNA Rafique Jamali on 18 September. She further told that Aziz Junejo will participate in by-elections from her constituency as her husband had been resigned from government job since two years ago. [alert style=”white”] She and her husband Aziz Junejo who is a former irrigation engineer had disaffected relationship for one year as he also blamed her of taking money from TMOs, Parveen Junejo added.[/alert]

Ms. Parveen Junejo who was elected for PS-76 (Dadu-III) seat in general elections of 2013 also appealed to Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Zardari to take action against this matter as she has also warned the party leadership to give her justice otherwise she will take the matter to the court.
