PPP Tanvir Ashraf Kaira Calls For Probe In Aslam Beg’s Allegations

PPP Tanvir Ashraf KairaLahore: The former Finance minister of Punjab and Pakistan Peoples Party’s leader Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has called for probe to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s government in former army Chief Mirza Aslam Beg’s allegations against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s chairman Tahir-Ul-Qadri. He said that Mirza Aslam Beg blamed both leaders are following a “foreign agenda” to weaken democracy in Pakistan through their sit-ins.

PPP Tanvir Ashraf Kaira also said while commenting on the interview of ex-army chief general Mirza Aslam Beg that former army Chief’s blames are very serious and should be investigated immediately as these are equivalent to back stabbing on the country through violating international laws. He added that certain proofs should be given in this regard so that people come to know reality of Imran Khan and Tahir-Ul-Qadri. [alert style=”white”]It is worth mentioning that Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has also strongly condemned the use of non-parliamentary language against Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari by Imran Khan while saying that it is an unacceptable act from any leader against other political leaders.[/alert]

Punjab PPP secretary-general, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira also appealed for an apology from Imran Khan for using harsh words against PPP as PPP believes in the Democracy, Constitution and the Supremacy of Law. Tanvir Ashraf Kaira further said the PPP’s democracy does not mean that they will also support the current government’s policies.
