Mr. Tariq Masood Arain is a member of current Sindh Assembly (tenure 2013 till date). He belongs to constituency PP-24 Shaheed Benazir Abad-I (Old Nawab Shah-I). His current official positions are a Member of Standing Committee on Excise, Taxation and Narcotics, Standing committee on Information and Archives, Standing Committee on Home, Standing Committee on Services, General Administration and Co-ordination Department.
Mr. Tariq Masood Arain holds an influential background and position in his constituency and has been raised as a ground level politician who has earned his position with devotion to his party. He is a businessperson. He belongs to famous left-wing political party of Pakistan mainly gaining his vote bank in Sindh Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP).
Mr. Tariq Masood Arain’s father was also an influential personality of his town. His name Manzoor Ahmed. Mr. Nawaz was born in Shaheed Benazir Abad on 1st July 1973. He is living a happy with his family. Academically he is a graduate from University of Sindh. He has also served at official positions previously. He had been a member of Provincial Assembly of Sindh twice, from 2002 to 2007 and from 2008 to 2013.
