In a 1st T20 practice match Team Blue defeated Team Green by 7 wickets at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Thursday. Team Green which was led by Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and elected to bat first. Captain Mohammad Hafeez scored 56 runs. Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi made 23 and 20 runs respectively. Team Green scored 138/6 in allotted 20 overs. Newly selected slow left arm bowler Raza Hasan grabbed three wickets.
In reply Team Blue chased the target in the final over. Asad Shafiq scored unbeaten 71 runs. Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez picked one wicket each. Abdur Rehman was captain Team Blue.
The second T20 match between Team Green and Team Blue will be played on 26th May at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The match will be telecast live by PTV Sports at 7:30 PM
