Many in Pakistan said that it looks like a joke that an actress like Meera is given this award. One of the critics of Meera from Lahore said that there is no such film/drama/performance of Meera which can be remembered. Her most of the films have remained flop. Meera is also not good in acting.
One of the co-actor of Meera said that it is true that she has nothing remarkable for this award but her English speaking style is very different (many have joked of Meera’s English) therefore this may be only reason to give her Pride Of Performance award.

May be pride of performance is the result of one night that she has passed with zardari and performed well there….. 😀
Zardari is not stupid, he always work at give and take policy but sometime only take take 🙂 hope your got the point.
