Prince Mir Mehdi further said in his address that a former state of Khairpur was an era of literature and a period of peace but after the collapse of state, Khairpur become the victim of violence and lawlessness. He also said that all works were used to done on merit in the time of state as rule of law was established in the state. In order to eradicate instability and extremism situations and conditions of the country, government should take actions and try to spread Sufi thoughts as Khadim Hussain Soomro has done a great feat by writing a book on Sufism, Prince Mir Mehdi remarked.
During an event Prince Mir Mehdi also demanded to other writers of the Sindh to spread Sufism by writing books in this regard as it is a very necessary step according to the current situation of the country. While leading historian Khadim Hussain Soomro also said about his book that “Sufi Light And Human Unity” is the book in which peace has been promoted in order to remove current extremist and terror situation from the Sindh.
