The citizens of Nowshera are facing miserable life because of issues of electricity, water, gas, health care and inadequate schools.
Residents of Nowshera staged protest in front of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) office due to unannounced and long hours load shedding. They were chanting the slogans against PESCO, Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). Insider said that funds were collected from public to change the transformer.
But unfortunately WAPDA engineers and employees new transformers have been sold out to influential person against huge bribe amount.
Nowshera business community told that we have suffered a huge loss that’s why we are unable to run businesses. “Power and fluctuation and excessive load shedding has damaged many electric appliances owing to which public have suffered huge losses” they said in a statement.
The people of Nowshera appeal to provincial and federal government to immediately resolve their issues and provide a sigh of relief.
