PTI Cricket league To Start Soon in All over Pakistan

Islamabad: Pakistan Cricket Board has allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf to organize cricket league in various parts of the country. PTI requested to PCB for organizing the cricket league in several parts of the country from May 3 to 18, 2014. The league is being organized on the instructions of PTI chairman Imran Khan. PTI’s Insaf sports and cultural forum will manage the demonstration.

According to the reports, Pakistan team’s players Misbah-ul-Haq, Boom Boom Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez and including other players will also participate in the PTI cricket league. It is pertinent to mention here that

Imran Khan, the 1992 World Cup winning captain, is himself involved in the organization of this T20 league. Past cricketers, including Javed Miandad, Mohsin Khan, Abdul Qadir, Moin Khan, Mansoor Akhtar, Manzoor Elahi and Shoaib Muhammad will also support PTI, sources said.

Chief organizer Iftikhar Ilahi said all arrangements for the event are in progress and PTI chairman Imran Khan himself is observing the process. He Further added that he had communicated PCB to get its help to bring together the contest and for selection of the teams of the four provinces and the center. Now PCB had decided to support the initiative because it was the need of the time.

The matches will be played in Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad. Both semi-finals and the final will be played in Faisalabad.
