PTI Ishaq Khan Khakwani to Head Task Force For Probing Rigging

PTI (1)Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s leader Ishaq Khan Khakwani is going to head task force which will conduct in order to probing the alleged rigging issue of the general elections 2013. According to the details, a notification has been issued by PTI Secretary General Jehangir Tareen on Saturday in which it has said that task force will contain designated members comprising an investigative, legal and media team.

PTI which has formed an eight-member task force in which Dr Arif Alvi, Azam Swati, Ejaz Chaudhry, Shoaib Siddiqui and three lawyers are included. However, PTI’s previous legal team including Hamid Khan, Ahmad Awais and Qazi Anwar are not nominated in this task force. It has also revealed by a member of the PTI’s previous legal team that there are difference between party leadership and Hamid Khan due to the criticism made by the party regarding former CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

On the other hand, several topmost journalists are also assisting task force as efforts are also being made to engage Hafeez Peerzada in this task force. [alert style=”white”]It is worth mentioning here that PTI has also asked for analysis reports regarding 37 constituencies from National Database Regulatory Authority (NADRA) before 15th April.[/alert]
