Lahore: Chairman of PTI Imran Khan has to face a new challenge after an exchange of some harsh arguments and use inappropriate words in emails between PTI Secretary General Jahangir Khan Tareen and Secretary Information Dr. Shireen Mazari. It has become a test case for Imran Khan as Dr. Shireen Mazari has challenged to the authority of Jahangir Khan Tareen.
According to the leading Urdu newspaper Imran Khan has taken a notice of this issue and it is probably to happen that Shireen Mazari may get removed from the post of PTI Information Secretary. Party leadership has decided to give this post to the issue-free foreign minister. In this regard, the National Assembly continued to consider on MNA Asad Umar or Shafqat Mahmood, they think these two possible alternatives for Shireen Mazari for the post of secretary Information. Shafqat Mahmood has worked for on the same position in PTI in past as well.
According to various sources, Shireen Mazari used unsuitable language in her emails sent to Jahangir Khan Tareen which were also copied to other party leaders including Naeem Ul Haq, Arif Alvi, Ejaz Chuadhry and PTI Social media team.
Jahangir Tareen wrote in his response to Dr. Shireen Mazari’s email that “Enough is enough; my office staff serves organizational works according to my permission”. Shireen Mazari by replying to this email wrote that “I am not your employee; it’s a political party not a corporate business, so you do concentrate on your business and not to interfere in my work”.
