Karachi: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has expressed grief over the martyrdom of the four party members who were subjected to the country violence that hit nationally while PTI workers along with other leaders, politicians and common men took to streets on Friday to observe the Aashiq e Rasool Day as announced by the government against the anti-Islam U.S based movie.
The PTI chairman called his workers to observe peaceful demonstration. In 100 cities the PTI workers came up with protesting , however in few places people resorted to violence and rioting resulting in injuries, death to around 23 people and massively affecting the public and government property.
Qair Khalid Khan, Kashif, Abrar and Muhammad Amir of Peshawar of PTI were among the victims of the violence. Mr. Imran Khan said that the happening of such incident is evidence of the callousness of the government. Khan demanded strict investigations over the innocent killings.
“The rulers failed to portray a good and peaceful image of Muslim Ummah. Those responsible for maintaining law and order situation and the public safety should be brought to justice “, said the PTI leader.
