PTI’s Jamal Siddiqi Lead Protest At Nursery, Sharea Faisal

pti-stages-rally-sit-in-in-karachiKarachi: After on-going 18 days’ protest of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) against current government Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz at Islamabad, PTI has decided to increase their anti-government campaign in different cities of Pakistan. On the instructions of PTI leadership, the member of PTI Jamal Siddiqi led a protest at Nursery at Sherea Faisal on Saturday.

The protest emerged with large number of protestors who were raising their voice for Prime Minister’s resignation while chanting slogans against Nawaz Sharif. Protestors made the same environment like Islamabad’s sit-ins by dancing on the party’ songs as well as there were a large number of women with painted flag of PTI on their face as well as youngsters also covered their head with party’s flag. Police jammed one pathway of the major Sharea Faisal near Nursery in order to maintain the situation and claimed that PTI workers were not allowed to protest on the main road.

However, PTI’s Jamal Siddiqi told that it was planned to organize the sit-in outside the party’s office but due to large crowd of protestors, party had to enlarge its circle to the main road. Jamal Siddiqui also told that it was also decided to start the sit-ins after sunset but protestors reached at the venue before the given time. It is pertinent to mention that the provincial lawmakers who recently resigned named as Samar Ali Khan and Seema Zia also joined in the protest as they belongs to the PTI.
