PTI’s Zahra Shahid Killed In Target Attack Or By Robbers?

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf vice-president of Sindh chapter Zahra Shahid was killed by unknown men in DHA area of Karachi. Zahra Shahid was killed outside her residence in Phase IV of Defence area. “The PTI leader Zahra got killed resisting an armed roadside robbery”, said SSP Aftab.

According to DawnNews Zahra Shahid Hussain (60-years-old) was killed in an attempted robbery incident. SSP Aftab claimed that according to  Zahra Shahid Hussain’s daughter and driver, the eyewitnesses, it was a street crime related murder. She got killed resisting a robbery.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan tweeted that he is shocked and saddened by brutal murder of of Zara Shahid Hussain. Imran held Altaf Hussain directly responsible for the murder. Supporters of PTI on Facebook started updating their status that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is behind this murder. However MQM supporters and many other were of the view that police should investigate this matter and MQM should not be blamed for this murder.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain, has condemned the murder of Zahra Shahid who was the founder member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and was associated with the party for past 16 years. Some sources are claiming that murder of Zahra was a target attack.

It is pertinent to mention her that today (19th May) re-polling will be held in 42 polling stations of NA-250 constituency. MQM and PPP have announced to boycott re-polling in 42 pollinig stations of NA-250.
