The ongoing ICC World Twenty20 Matches in Bangladesh is telecast live by PTV Sports channel but the sad thing is that it seems that we are watching Television commercial (TVC)/ advertisements and matches are shown in between them. Most of the times first ball of the over is missed whereas advertisements starts again immediately after last ball of the over.
Indian sports channel which is showing ICC World Twenty20 is quite good as advertisements are limited and it looks that one is watching match and not advertisements. This famous Indian sports channel is also doing commentary in Hindi/Urdu.
It will be appreciated if higher authorities in PTV Sports took notice of this and advertisements are cut down. It will also be great if PTV Sports also starts Urdu commentary as most people in Pakistan easily understands Urdu instead of English. I also appeal to Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid to look into this.
