It has been learnt that some private channels wanted to invite Rahat Fateh Ali Khan but when he demanded Rs. 1 million the channel decided to invite any other artist. The 39-year-old Rahat is the most expensive artist of Pakistan when it comes in taking money and performing in events. Rahat is invited in Dubai, India, USA and London where people are diehard fans of his Qawwalis.

This demand of Rs. 1 million from channels to become guest in show is very surprising and some of his fans were of the view that this is not justified and Rahat should come in these shows without taking any money. However some of his fans said on Facebook that it is right of any artist to take money for going in any TV show so Rahat Fateh has done nothing wrong in demanding money.
