Raja Mohammad Aleem Khan Abbasi Elected President Of IHCBA

aja Mohammad Aleem Khan AbbasiIslamabad: Raja Mohammad Aleem Khan Abbasi has elected as President of Islamabad High Court (IHC) bar association by securing 624 votes against Niazullah Khan Niazi who could make only 272 votes in favor of him. According to the details, the results were announced by the Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, the election commissioner of the IHC after 6pm on Saturday as victory of Raja Mohammad Aleem Khan Abbasi was celebrated by his supporters in a very happy manner.

On the other hand, Sardar Shaukat Hayat is known as new general secretary of IHCBA has he already got this post without any election due to disqualification of his opponent Barrister Kashif Zubair who got dismissed by election board during inquiry of his nomination papers. The vice-president’s slot was come under Rana Abdul Latif who secured 527 votes by defeating his rival Riffat Hussain Malik who received only 359 votes. Similarly, Wajiha Pervez has become joint secretary after getting 479 votes in front of his opponent Chaudhry Ishtiaq Azam Chohan who secured 406 votes.
