Although mothers are increasingly joining the workforce, for many of them, the kitchen remains their prized domain. Here are some renovations that can not only add pizzazz to your kitchen, but also boost your property’s value considerably.
* Add colour. Kitchens are so longer about drab browns and greys. Add bright colours; these days one of the most trendy colour combinations is cherry (for cabinets) and lime (for sinks and floors) which create a stunning effect. Other ways of adding colour include using colorful appliances such as electric kettles, toasters, as well as pots and pans. * Keep easy maintenance in mind. Counters made of granite (black is the ‘in’ colour these days) not only look good, but they are easy to maintain and do not stain easily.
