He announced to join Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf in October 2011 Jalsa. He was among those dozens of political leaders who changed their political affiliation in PTI Chakwal Jalsa.
There are rumors that he is going to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. Some political inside sources claimed that he will rejoin PML-Q but there are strong chance that he will join Nawaz League instead of Quaid League.
It’s worth pertinent here that he is also running Sardar Group Chakwal which has negative opinion in city. After his affiliation with PTI, he faced huge criticism within party due to his past corruption cases.
