Schools, Colleges Closed On 24th January (Friday) In Karachi

Karachi: Private and government schools, colleges will remain closed tomorrow as metropolitan city will observe strike. University of Karachi has also announced that all exams scheduled for 24th January will be postponed; today also exams were also postponed in University of Karachi.

Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) has also announced wheel-jam strike in the support of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Samiul Haque) (JUI-S) strike in the city. JUI-S has announced strike over the killing of Mufti Usman Yar Khan who was killed by unknown gunmen on Sharea Faisal last Friday.

Various sit-ins will be held in the metropolis on Friday. Today also different roads were blocked in protest of killing of Hazara community persions in Mastung, Balochistan. Flights were also affected because of today’s sit-ins and blockage of roads. Exams have also been postponed in Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari and Jinnah University For Women in Karachi.
