Awami National Party (ANP) senator Haji Muhammad Adeel recently said that there should be no tax on cosmetics items as females look good after make-up and he also like this. Haji Adeel said this during a Budget 2013-14 session in senate. His unusual comments raised eyebrows of many. Haji Adeel said: “Don’t raise taxes on cosmetic products as it is because of these products that we see some beautiful faces,”
This type of comments made by senator of Pakistan is very embracing. Leading Urdu newspaper of Pakistan published this news which means that it was seen by millions people all round the world and what they would have thought about senator and Pakistan. Because of many reasons Pakistan faces embracing moment at international level and behind most of these reasons are Pakistan’s politician.
Chairman of the Senate should take notice of this comment and must warn the sentor. Pakistan is an Islamic state therefore these comments should not be made and when it is made by senator than it is more commendable. Awami National Party (ANP) should also issue warning to to Haji Adeel.
