Sex-Age Distribution – Pakistan

Sex wise distribution of population is of paramount importance for birth rate, death rate, marriages and employment etc. Sex ratio is also important for the sex formation. The total population of Pakistan was 33340000 in 1951 out of which male population was 18147000 and female population was 1559300. The male population to the females was 53.8 percent.

This proportion decreased to 51.9 percent in 1998 because the total population in this year was 130570000 out of which the male population was 67840000 while the number of females was 62739000.

It proves that the death rate of female population decreased and the birth rate of male population has been decreased. Age wise distribution of population is important for education, health and employment.
