Shab-e-Miraj Today In Pakistan

Shab-e-Miraj will be obersved tonight in Pakistan. Religious gatherings, special programmes of Mehfil-e-Naat and prayers will be oraginsed in Pakistan. Shab-e-Miraj is observed on the 27th day of the month of Rajab, the seventh month in the Islamic calendar.

Shab-e-Mairaj in the Gulf countries was observed on 16th June. In accordance with this Shab-e-Miraj, public holiday was announced in UAE on Sunday. In US, UK and Canada Shab-e-Mairaj is observed today (17th June). ARY QTV channel will present special shows on Shab-e-Miraj whch will be aired today. This event marks the night that Allah (God) took Holy Prophet (PBUH) on a special journey from Makkah to Jerusalem and then to heaven. During Meraj, the command for five daily prayers was also given to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
