Shahid Afridi Off To England To Play County Cricket

AfridiKarachi: The captain of Pakistan T20 Cricket team Shahid Afridi has left for England in order to play County Cricket as he will play T2O tournament from England’s county Northamptonshire. According to the sources, Shahid Afridi will also attend Caribbean Premier League after which he will left for Sri Lanka to play T20 matches despite coming back to Pakistan.

The 35-years old Boom Boom Afridi said in this regard that his prayers are with his team and Pakistan will also win One Day series like they have win T20 tournament. He also said that he is very happy on the tremendous performance of the Pakistani players against Zimbabwe players while endorsing the selection of new players who got the chance to show their talent in that series.

Moreover, Afridi further added that if no cricket happens in country, the standard of domestic cricket of country should be best so that new talent of cricket can emerged. However Shahid Afridi has also remained part of Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Kent and Hampshire county cricket. It is worth mentioning here that Afridi has resigned from One-Day cricket series as he is only playing T20 tournaments. World Cup 2015 which held in Australia this year was the last World Cup of the famous cricketer of Pakistan.
