Shortage of Power Resources In Pakistan

For industrial development coal gas, petroleum and electricity are needed. Out of these coal and petroleum are not available in a large quantity hence we depend upon gas and electricity. Coal deposits are available in Thar coal field and petroleum is also being found at many places in Sindh.

We have to extract more coal and try to obtain more petroleum and gas. Apart from this there is big scope to construct more dams like Kalabagh dam etc and to generate cheap hydraulic electricity.

Efforts can be put in to install more atomic reactors to produce electricity instead of making atomic headed missiles and atomic reactors to produce electricity instead of making atomic head missiles and atom bombs. At Thatta coast, Karachi and Makran coasts wind-mills can be installed to produce electricity. Thus, there is ample scope of increasing more power.
