Significance Of Simla Delegation

The importance of Simla Delegation is reflected from the fact that it extended the genuine demands of the Indian Muslims first time in the history of Pakistan Movement before the British Government in an effective and organized way and the British Government not only listened them attentively but also promised to consider them in favour of the Muslims first time.

After this meeting at Simla, the direction of the Muslim struggle in India was changed entirely. After extending these demands, first time the efforts for the independent Muslim state were directed to a right path.

After the Simla talks, Muslims realized that Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was right to say that the Hindus will never welcome any step in favour of Muslims of India which was reflected from the resentment by Hindus at the time of division of Bengal.
