Status Of Pakistan National Language – Urdu

Urdu has been given the status of national language because in the Federation of Pakistan it is the symbol and mark of identification of Pakistan which enjoys constitutional safeguard. It is the language of mutual link between the four provinces and their people.

All the provincial nationalities use it for National unity, provinces of Pakistan are taking share in its creative works and people of Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are participating in the development of Urdu literature equally. Therefore Urdu rightly to enjoy the status of National language.
