I read some comments that he lived beyond what doctors told him … lol… if its like doctors are GOD.. that was actually a greatest sign of GOD to Stephen Hawking himself but as everyone claim here that he was genius but he missed the most obvious sign of GOD that he lived beyond what science(Doctors) advised that he will die by 30s, that makes him dumbest person on earth.

Him not realizing the presence of God and being an atheist is his personal choice indeed and also will of God for not giving him this realization. However, his genuine contribution to his professional field, its impact on science over all and times to come should not be nullified because of his personal choices.
You don’t have to agree with each and every aspect of a person’s life. Yeah he was an atheist, he liked big bang theory, he called jaguar the best car in the world, and he abused his wife and servants. That has nothing to do with the fact that he revolutionized science with his work and he was in fact a genius.

That’s an extreme point of you – this is called an extermisim ideology – we should stop mixing religion with science or at least we should stop judging someone based on their religion or believe – the work he has done should be appreciated.
He was an inspiration for millions of the people. It’s an irreparable loss to the humanity, and reading comments on internet by bigots make me realise the very reason behind our backwardness in science and technology. We can’t even respect and mourn over the death of a genius scientist and greatest mind after Einstein just because he didn’t share our beliefs.
If he was really good in research he must believe in GOD.

Yes if he don’t believe that this universe is made by God he is dumbest person….the jaguar car which he called best is much less complex than universe could not be make on his own…how this complex universe can come into existence by its own…and so systematic,,,?sun comes on his turn,,moon comes on its own,,,same earth ,,butt different fruits,,,same mother with different qualities in children
