Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) has announced that there will be no public traffic in city on 18th February (Monday) in support of strike call of Shia Ulema Council. Sindh Bar Council have also announced to observe strike tomorrow to express solidarity with the Hazara community.
There are still no news regarding schools and colleges holiday in Karachi. However according to our correspondent schools and colleges will remain close in the city.
It is pertinent to mention here that on 16th February more than 80 people were killed in Quetta. On Sunday Sindh Governments and Balochistan Government observed day of mourning. Hazara Democratic Party called for strike in Quetta today.
In January 2013, 100 people were killed and 200 were injured when two bombs rocked Quetta.
Update: All private schools in Karachi will remain close on 18th February (Monday).
ln the world today,if there is conflict of any kind, its cannot be resolve without resorting to strike, boycotts, demonstrations and the likes. Can’t dialogue or other means of conflict resolution be used to settle dispute? Must it always result in madness before the matter is resolve? This world that was started by one man and one woman, which clearly reflects that we all have a common origin;that is we are from one father and mother, why the hatred and acrimony? Please the government of karachi should step into the matter before the world begin to hear bloodshed in that country, please. lf someone is not competent in managing the state,he/she should not go in and cause disaffection between brethren simple !
