Strike In Karachi Today – Schools, Colleges Closed?

Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami has call for strike in the city today on the killing of former Town Nazim Liaquatabad Dr. Pervez Mehmood. Dr. Pervez was killed on 18th September at 4K Chowrangi, North Nazimabad. Many parents in Karachi are confused that whether schools, colleges will remain open today or not.

It is expected that offices, business, shops, markets, schools, colleges and universities will remain open on Wednesday and there will be no holiday. Panic was spread among the people after eight people were killed in blast at Hyderi Market. 25 people were also injured in the bomb blast.

Once again peace in Karachi has been disturbed and more than 50 people have been killed in the last four days.
