Structures along Budni Nullah In Peshawar To Be Removed

Budni Nullah In PeshawarPeshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said that structures along Budni Nullah in Peshawar will remove in order to avoid any floods threat in the future. According to the details, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak also said during his visit to Budni Nullah that compensate for damages will be provided by the government to those who illegally built their properties along the banks of rivers, streams and nullahs.

The chief minister who visited several areas which have hit by flood further told to reporters that government has made plan regarding the removal of encroachment from the banks of the nullah at which action will be taken soon. He also told that government had also given notice to those people who encroached on the banks of nullah but they did not act upon it due to which government will now take action against them.

[alert style=”white”]It is pertinent to mention that Budni Nullah was hit by high flood after heavy rains on Sunday due to which nullah flooded at several residential colonies and underwater roads[/alert]. In this regard, concerned officials also reported that affected families are returning to their homes as the water level has stopped in Budhni Nullah. It is worth mentioning here that Pervez Khattak has made his 3 days visit to Chitral district in order to look after relief activities in the affected areas along with chief secretary, secretaries and other senior officers.
