Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) through advertsiments in newspapers has conveyed the following message:
All the residents of Clifton Cantonment are hereby informed that the use of suction pumps is illegal as it disturbs smooth distribution of potable water which is prohibited under the law. Cantonment Board Clifton is launching a vigorous campaign to eradicate this menace.
Those found using suction pumps will be liable to penal action and their water supply line will also be disconnected. Residents are requested to cooperate with Cantonment Board Clifton for better distribution of potable water and immediately stop using suction pumps. Otherwise stern action will be taken.
