Justice Nasir Ul MulkNasir Ul Mulk is a high-ranking Chief justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan as he was appointed for this post in 2005.After that he was appointed as acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan in the year 2013 and now he is going to be appointed as Chief Justice on 6th July, 2014.

Nasir Ul Mulk was born on 17th August, 1950 in a rich Pashtun family of Mingora as he belongs to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. He is the son of ex-Senator Seth Kamran Khan, brother of ex-Senator Shuja ul Mulk and nephew of Chacha Karim Baksh. In 1972, Nasir Ul Mulk completed his LLB from the University of Peshawar and then he went to London where he got his degree in Barrister-at-Law from the Inner Temple. Mr. Mulk started his professional career as a part time lecturer at Khyber Law College and Peshawar University. In 1981, he was designated as Secretary General of the Peshawar High Court Bar Association.

Nasir Ul Mulk, a senior judge of the Peshawar High Court has a long professional list as he was also emerged as a President of Peshawar High Court Bar Association two times in the years 1990 and 1993. After presidency post, Mulk promoted to the post of Judge of Peshawar High Court in June 6, 1994. Justice Nasir Ul Mulk has solved many important cases successfully and now he is all set to take oath as the country’s judge.
