This news revealed during Supreme Court Karachi Registry’s larger bench hearing. DG Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhtar and IG Sindh Fayyaz Leghari were also present in court. Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali was head of this bench. Justice Anwar showed concern over this release. He said that Witnessers don’t come to court because government doesn’t provide them security.
Former Mayor Karachi Mustafa Kamal also accepted in press conference that Ajmal Pahari was worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Media reports told that Ajmal Pahari is still in house arrest under MPO.
Last year in March, two officers of CID Police, SP Umer Shahid and Chaudhry Aslam arrested Ajmal Pahari from New Karachi. His companions were also arrested with him. SP Police claimed that Ajmal is wanted in more than 53 cases. He further told that Ajmal runaway after he get bail in 2005.
It’s worth mentioning here that few months back, an Ajmal Pahari’s video spread on social media. In that investigating video, Ajmal accepted his link with India and also accepted his crimes. He also claimed that he was part of MQM.
