Recently, the Mayor of Karachi Waseem Ahktar has announced that they are going to establish a standard tuberculosis center in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, which really has been a demand of people for a long ago.
Abbasi Shaheed Hospital is being one of the largest hospitals direly need the establishment of T.B Center.
Waseem AKhtar has spotlighted the issue during a meeting in his office, where all senior people, officers, and representatives were present; including, Municipal commissioner Hanif Mohammad Mrchi Wala, Treasury adviser Khalid Mahmood Sheikh, Senior Director Medical and Health Services Dr. Mohammad Ali Abbasi and other officers.
The program was arranged on “Zero TB Karachi”, where the focus was how to eradicate the T.B from the society and spreading the awareness of the diseases among the masses.
