As per SRO 608(1)2012, General Sales Tax on black tea has been reduced from 16% to 5%. Black tea is part of Pakistan’s staple diet. Lipton, Bond Supreme, Pearl Dust and A1 are Pakistan’s leading brands. Price of these brands will be reduced to pass on the benefits to consumer.
