Teachers Training In Pakistan

Teacher’s role is very important in the system of education. To equip teachers with proper skills teachers are given training. There are certain levels of teachers training which are according to the general education ability of teachers. They are given as under:

Primary School Teachers: Primary school teachers are SSC pass. The duration of primary school teachers training is one year. They get Primary Teaching Certificate (PTC) on completing their training.

Middle School Teachers: They are FA/F.SC pass. They get Certificate in Teaching (CT) after completing one year training. PTC or CT training is provided by the Government Colleges of Elementary Education for boys and girls separately at all the district headquarters.

Secondary School Teachers: They are BA/BSC pass. They get B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree after one year’s training. Government colleges of Education for B.Ed are at a few selected places in each province.
