Tehreek Insaf Alvi Adopts Pakistan Railways School

Pakistan-Arif-alvi-RailwaysLahore: A founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Dr. Arif Alvi has adopted Pakistan Railways School on Saturday in collaboration with Citizens Foundation. According to the details, the Pakistan Railways has signed an agreement with Insaf Community Welfare Society (ICWS) and Citizens Foundation at the Railway Headquarters today in order to rehabilitate Pakistan Railways School in Karachi.

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said while addressing to the occasion that it is a good step taken by Arif Alvi in order to promote education in Karachi. He further said that it is necessary to keep political differences away for the development of the country, however PR is a national institution which has no association with politics.

Moreover, Railways Minister said that a trial step has been taken for the improvement of education and more efforts will be made in this in the future too. He further mention that Rs10 million has been spent in order to increase security of all PR schools.

In this regard, Dr. Arif Alvi said that more pilots projects are necessary to be launched with the aim to bring revolutionary change in the educational sector. However, the step has been taken socially for the improvement of education, he added.
