Tezgam, Zakaria Express, Fareed Express, Bolan Mail, Night Coach Trains Delayed

Thousands of upcountry-bound passengers remained stranded at the Cantonment and City railway stations for hours not knowing when their journey would start on 8th September. At least nine trains could not leave on the schedule. Following are the trains which were not on time:

• The Night Coach
• Allama Iqbal Express
• Millat Express
• Tezgam
• Karakoram Express
• Zakaria Express
• Fareed Express
• Khushhal Khan Express
• Bolan Mail

Railway officials said that they did not have locomotives for those trains. The cantonment station authorities had even turned off the electronic board, which displays train timings.

In the last few weeks many trains have been delayed because of unknown reasons. Some time the concerned authorities says that because of rain schedule of train have been disturbed and some time they blame lack of oil supply for trains.
